The FA Cup fifth round tie between Chelsea and Birmingham was yet another embarrassing affair for Andre Villas-Boas. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, with Sturridge’s header saving Chelsea fans and the team from losing at home to a team from the npower Championship. Betting on Chelsea to lose at home in the FA Cup against a lower league club is nearly unheard of, as this has not happened since 1991. But, it nearly happened on Saturday afternoon.
The pressure on Andre must be almost intolerable, as the fans clearly let their feelings known with unending boos and chants for Jose Mourinho.
